Berlin star producer Chris Zippel already worked together with acts like Pet Shop Boys, Robbie Williams, Schiller and Ich & Ich. By his two trippy albums 'Genuine Horizon - Nu Ambient Grooves' which were well received around the millenium, the autodidact sound pioneer steppeed on new ambient paths. Yet, his aesthetic style and vital grooves are distinctive until today. In 2007, he continued his solo album on Elektrolux, setting course towards marching TripHop beats, intensive atmospheres and melancholy pop references. This year, he elaborated on his up-to-date grooves by a two-part remix package. The first part already convinced the respective press (e.g. the Raveline mag) in every way. And now comes the second one: While deepness and danceability come first, not only the order of the individual tracks and remixes is special. Moreover, each track itself is able to rock the dancefloor with housy easyness. Swiss newcomer Julius Lagerfeld who likes to be part of the dancing crowd and, for the last ten years has been spending a lot of time at his synthesizers, opens the remix round with his version of 'Around, Arrived'. By its tech-housy charm and its easy but yet determinded groove, the interpretation of the wistful original version could not be deeper. Berliner-by-choice Navs (Canecutters Collective) from London and Chris Zippel put the very core 'Truth Is' on solid ground by lusty Electro House and sensitive spheres. Italian Roberto Bardini warm-heartedly welcomes the listener with spherical and melodic House tunes in 'Red River'. Finally, the very special mood of the moment is put on by Mick Rubin (Munich) who had a massive clubhit on Cocoon with Oliver Koletzki in 2005. Now, he lets the sun rise in 'As Possible' in a very own kind of beauty and deep sensuality. This way, he crests each indoor and outdoor party night.
