The Guardner remix EP is finally here... and it was worth the wait! Korben Dallas (of Sense fame), Japanese-German sound wizard Naoki Kenji, Frank RÙckert aka ÙNN and Germany's broken beat wunderkind Kabuki deliver their magic remix skills on some of Markus Schmahl's finest Guardner material. It kicks off with an irresistible offbeat house excursion by Korben Dallas, who adds a deep and atmospheric nujazz vibe to the original version of 'Retro Future'. Naoki Kenji's highly emotional edit of 'The Future Is My Melody' offers his trademark dreamy electronica sound that can't fail to get under your skin. Guardner's production mate Frank RÙckert aka ÙNN (also known from the highly acclaimed Rauschfaktor project with Markus Schmahl) impresses to the max by taking 'Deep In Me' in mesmerizing techhouse territories. Last but by no means least we have drum'n'bass hero Kabuki (Precision/Megashira), whose magnificent interpretation of 'Milestones' will set your feet back on the ground with some truly funky breakbeats. Each remix is a winner in it's complete right. An impressive line up and essential package!
